What is melamine?

Melamine is an organic compound used to manufacture a number of products, especially plastic dinnerware, resulting in a more durable, resistant and virtually unbreakable melamine product.

Are your products dishwasher safe?

Our melamine and glassware products are 100% dishwasher safe top and bottom rack; however, we recommend placing our glassware on top rack for more effective dishwashing.

Is our melamine microwaveable?

Melamine should not be placed in the microwave. Extended exposure can deteriorate or alter the melamine composition.

Is melamine oven-safe?

Melamine should never be placed in an oven. Melamine is plastic based and will melt under oven temperatures.

Is melamine safe for food?

Not all melamine is 100% melamine, some brands use fillers. Le Cadeaux melamine is 100% melamine of the highest quality, and is tested in our laboratories to ensure that it passes all FDA/US standards and is completely safe for food use.

Are your products BPA-free?

All of our melamine products are BPA-free. Our Fleur and Milano glassware Polycarbonate collections contain minute trace levels of BPA; these trace levels are well below FDA/US allowed levels.

Where are your products made?

All of our melamine products are designed in our Los Angeles, CA office and produced in Asia.

Is melamine child-friendly?

Our melamine is durable, resistant and virtually unbreakable which makes it the perfect choice for maintaining beautiful table settings without the worry of breakage.

Can I use knives on melamine?

Although regular flatware knives work well for normal use, we recommend that you do not use heavily serrated knives on our melamine.

Can I cancel my order?

Email us at customerservice@lecadeaux.com or call us at 323-233-8300 immediately after placing your order and we’ll do our best to accommodate your request. Cancellations after 1 hour cannot be completed.

What is your typical delivery time?

Please allow 1-3 business days for your order to be processed. For delivery please allow an additional 3-5 business days.

What is your return policy?

Le Cadeaux is committed to providing the highest quality product and excellent customer service. If within 30 days of receipt of your order you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we are happy to offer a refund or exchange of your merchandise. You are responsible for covering the shipping cost to return your merchandise.We can provide a pre-paid label at your request and deduct the cost from your total refund. Please email customerservice@lecadeaux.com to initiate return process. Unauthorized returns will be charged a 20% restocking fee.
